Kedem Sasson began designing for dancers, the theater, various musicals, cinema and TV. He has always had the freedom to work with abundant amounts of fabric, and tends to create shapes and forms the retain their own dimensions and flatter women of all sizes.
Kedem’s 2009 appearance as “The Mentor” on “Project Runway Israel” cemented his position within the top group of Israel’s fashion movers and shakers. “I do fashion differently, feel it differently,” said the designer, whose creations are worn by such varied personalities as Whoopi Goldberg and world-music bandleader Idan Raichel. “Fashion for me is not just being a designer – it’s culture, art, civilization.”
